Blood Roses
These paintings were made in 13 months (2009/2010), on each one I worked 28 days - the length of a month=moon=mens, from one menstruation to another….and each holding and treasuring the story of time and place that I experienced…..
They are done in mixed media (menstrual blood, sea water, oil colour) and based on Austrian, Croatian, Czech, English and Mexican soil.
